Children’s Book Illustrator

• Character & Background Illustration: Illustrate character systems and backgrounds for children's books; fully develop expressions, costumes and props based on scripts provided by Script Writers

• Art Team Collaboration: Collaborate with the Art Team to develop storyboards, layouts and the visual asset system for the projects

• Character Optimization: Optimize character designs to ensure flexibility and scalability for personalized, print-on-demand book products

• Coordinate to standardize the production workflow, integrating AI tools to automate and manage visual asset variations to meet the needs of the personalization product line

• Review, evaluate and refine image quality to ensure all outputs meet Foxetales' artistic standards

• Perform other related duties as assigned by the company management

Core Requirements

• Bachelor’s/Associate's degree or higher in Fine Arts, Design, or related fields

• Possess a strong artistic sense and a genuine passion for children's book illustration

• Highly proficient in digital painting using Clip Studio, Procreate, or equivalent software

• A portfolio that clearly demonstrates capabilities in character illustration and visual storytelling

• Good command of English with the ability to read and understand international documents

• A solid foundation in anatomy, color theory, lighting, composition, perspective and visual storytelling

• Experience: Hands-on experience in illustrating children's books, comic books, games, or animation
